Privacy Policy
This policy is a working draft prepared for legal review and describes how VideoGameWizard intends to handle personal data.
What we collect
- Account data: email, display name, a salted password hash (never the password itself).
- Billing references: PayPal subscription and payer identifiers and subscription status. We never see or store card numbers.
- Your creations: intents, Game DNA, project definitions, revisions, builds, uploaded assets and publications.
- Operational data: hashed IP addresses for rate limiting and audit, generation job metadata, usage counts and token estimates.
How we use it
To run the service, verify billing, generate your games through our model providers, enforce plan allowances, prevent abuse and improve the product. Intents and project data are sent to the configured AI provider solely to perform generation for you.
Third parties
PayPal (billing), our AI model provider(s), our hosting and storage providers (Vercel, Turso, object storage) and, when configured, a transactional email provider. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
Retention and deletion
Your creations are retained while your account exists. You can archive worlds and delete assets at any time; billing records are retained as required for accounting.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@videogamewizard.com. Regional rights (GDPR, CCPA) will be honoured where applicable and are subject to legal review.
